Deputy Public Affairs Officer

Tahoe National Forest is currently looking for a Deputy Public Affairs Officer (Public Affairs Specialist GS-9/11).

Notable projects this position will assist communications with include the 275,000 acre North Yuba Landscape Resilience Project, Mosquito Fire Recovery and overall forest health and recreation projects on one of the most visited forests in the nation

The incumbent performs a wide variety of activities in planning and implementing a comprehensive public affairs program.
